"The construction of the engineering infrastructure of the park coincided with the most difficult time of the global economic crisis, when the operation of many enterprises was virtually paralyzed.The investor companies were forced to suspend r completely abandon their development plans. However, Lemminkäinen decided not to waste time and focus on creating the infrastructure of the industrial park. It was in 2009 that a significant amount of work typically preceding any project construction was completed at the I-Park: the development plan was drawn up, the buffer zone and internal infrastructure projects were approved, the technical specifications for connecting to power and water supply systems, and for the construction of a railroad track from the nearest railroad station in Vorotynsk, as well as all necessary approvals and permits, were obtained. All that work in its entirety was completed at the expense of Lemminkäinen holding.Through carefully planned investments and foresight of the Groups management, the Lemminkäinen's industrial Park is now one of the most attractive sites in the central part of Russia in erms of completeness of the engineering construction of the site infrastructure."
